To The Parents Of Kevin,
FMC Ice Sports, in cooperation with Joe Bertagna, will be offering one-day goaltending clinics for players between the ages of 7 and 14. The program will be open to players of all abilities and will serve as a fun and creative course in the art of goaltending.
Joe believes in emphasizing the mental aspects of playing goal, while covering all fundamentals on the ice as well. Joe's basic program philosophy has remained the same throughout his 30 years of camp instruction: "Goaltending is more than a physical test." In working with Joe, FMC Ice Sports aims to provide a first-class instructional program at an affordable rate. The event is being organized to benefit local hockey

posted 11/24/2009 Please keep in mind that while holiday shopping you can also be supporting the WHK program. On the right side of our home page there are several links that have been added from many different vendors (total hockey, stub hub, fathead, etc.) who have agreed to donate a portion of their profit directly to WHK if the purchase is made via the links listed. We have also added a tastefully simple link on the left-hand column. Please check out these online stores & keep them in mind when making a purchase! Thanks to you & them for supporting the HAWKS! Feel free to pass any of these links to family & friends who may be interested. | | | | by

The calendars are in & all players will be receiving their 10 calendars over the next week or so. (Half-season Midgets will receive 5). These calendars have already been paid for by you. It is now up to you whether or not you would like to sell these calendars ($10/each) to make your money back! Some people like to sell them & make $100 ($50 1/2 season Midgets) back, others simply put their name on the calendars & enter them all into the drawing in hopes to win money back that way! Either way, you have NOTHING to lose!!!
Regardless, the stubs are due back by January 31st as the drawing will be held during our February board meeting. We feel giving the calendars out this early gives you plenty of time to sell them (holidays, etc.)
We will once again offer FREE TUITION* for the 2010-2011 season to anyone who sells 100+ calendars! More and more people are taking advantage of this offer & their kids are skating for FREE* this season because they sold 100+ calendars last year! Times are tough & this is one way to relieve the burden of hockey tuition!
If you'd like to request more calendars, contact Cailyn Manning (
).
(*Registration fee & calendar money not included)
Anyone with an outstanding balance will receive their calendars once full tuition is received.
